  2.         WCVT2POV.EXE - V1.0
  3.  
  4. This is a sequel program to wobj2pov.exe. It allows 3d model
  5. files from several different sources to be read, viewed, modified,
  6. and then saved.
  7.  
  8. It recognizes the following 3d file formats:
  9.  
  10.     Wavefront *.obj file:    (both import & export)
  11.     Autocad 3d *.dxf file:    (both import & export)
  12.     RAW *.raw files:    (import only)
  13.     POVRay V2 *.pov file:    (export only)
  14.  
  15. WCVT2POV allows the color and texture of the 3d files to be
  16. modified. Each group of polygons from *.obj files, or each 
  17. set of polygons of the same color in a *.dxf file can now
  18. be edited. Each group of polygons can have their own color
  19. and texture which is selected using the "Color & Texture" 
  20. dialog box.

  22. Features that are planned for V2.0 release (later this year):
  23.  
  24.     1)  Support for importing DXF 2d files and extruding them.
  25.  
  26.     2)  Additional 3d file formats.
  27.  
  28.     3)  POV Smooth triangle.
  29.  
  30.     4)  MS-Windows help file.
  31.  
  32.     5)  A file format for this program so that color and 
  33.         texture info can be saved in a generic fashion, and
  34.         so that object models can be saved in a more compact
  35.         form.
